We are thrilled to announce that White River Area Agency on Aging is now SHIFT Accredited through Technology First SHIFT for 2025–2027! This prestigious accreditation recognizes our commitment to using technology as a first step in helping seniors live independently, safely, and with dignity. Through the Enabling Technology Pilot program, we assessed clients who would benefit most from technology, and thanks to grant funding, we installed devices such as Echos, Ring Doorbells, Smart Locks, iPads, Home Alert Systems, and more—using technology to make seniors safer and more independent.
Earning SHIFT’s highest level of recognition means we’ve met rigorous education and evaluation standards that ensure we provide person-centered technology solutions—like smart devices and alert systems—that truly transform lives.
